This tour is the most expensive that I've
never joined before, it almost costed HK$20,000.00, if not
going with my friends, I would not join this tour at this time
because I still have many places that I wanted to go, such as
Scandinavia of 4 countries, Greek. This tour is ok but not worth
for HK$18,000. Maybe some costs are parts of the 5-star hotels,
If have could have choice, I would choose 3-star hotel because
we were out of hotels all the time.
Libya is not so boom that I expected because
it had been imposed sanction until 2003 because of involving
conspiracy plot in explosion of Pan Am Aircraft. Luckily, it can
produce petroleum so people and city are not so dirty in the
whole. As it is an Islamic country, seldom nightlife was seen in
this countries. Along the coast of Mediterranean Sea, there are
not many traveling attractions, so there are many developing
chances in this Tripoli. Tripoli is a capital of Libya but only
10% of the Libya territories can be used, most of its land is
desert. The hotel where I lived in Tripoli is a 3-Star hotel
although it labeled itself as a 4-star hotel but our room was
facing Mediterranean Sea. As Libya is not fully open to the
world, it took a long time to go through the immigration dept
when we arrived via Dubai from Hong Kong.
Three days later, when we went through the
Border Control Station, it took 4 hours to go through it. The
procedure in Tripoli's side is ok although the coach driver took
more time than us to proceed the immigration dept. In the
Tunisia's side every one of us had to get off the coach to
submit the passport personally so that the officer could see us.
At first, I thought Tunisia is a backward country, it is in fact
travelling backyard of Europe, most Europeans from Spain,
Portugal, France, UK, Germany, the strong Euro spent on African
countries seems much worthy. As it is a travelling backyard,
there are many 5-star hotels in Tunisia for Europeans for their
Vacation. And Tunisia is a colonial country of France so French
is spoken in Tunisia.
